But I have tons of once fired LC brass that came out of match chambered pressure test barrels, so I also bought the little mini cutoff saw from Harbor Freight the other day. I ordered some factory Starline brass for a quick startup into loading. I ordered some of the Lancer mags from Wilson off the sale the other day. I think you would approve of the shooting, lol.

But we killed 10-11 pigs out of a 25 pig sounder. Not a HAMR so I kept it out of this thread. I posted a video from the other night up in the wild hog forum where I was shooting the 85 HP. I am trying to keep this gun as light as I can. The simple answer is just keep it a gas gun and not worry about it I suppose. Normally I use 85 Sierra HP's, 90 TNT's or 95 VMAX's in my Grendel and I like the way they perform. I ordered 400 of them to try out, looks like they will fit my shooting style pretty good. Should be doable with the lighter loads like the 125 TNT. I won't be a total accuracy freak on this HAMR, but would like it to shoot around MOA or so. It was a 14.5" with pinned ASR brake for my Specwar 556K. I never had any accuracy issues with my Adams 556 piston upper, in fact it was very accurate. the others are quieter or at least seem to be more muffled. my least favorite is the lancer because it seems to be made of some kind of plastic that makes a louder noise when my gun is strapped in front and it rubs on a coat button or zipper. i've learned that it's not necessary to stretch the bullet out at the risk of dragging in the mag. the 300 blkout pmag, wilson mag and lancer mags all work fine unless i get greedy with the oal. it's kinda cool to see how many rounds are in a clear mag, but i'm not going into battle if it's not stuffed full. i can't say that it won any accuracy awards, but my idea of accuracy probably isn't the same as BW'sĪs far as mags, my only real requirement is that they don't jam.

When i shot a 6.8, it was piston and i really liked the cleanup, especially with the nickel boron bcg while running a can. i ordered the piston kit twice and shipping screwed me around both times so i gave up. they haven't complained about accuracy that i know of. oink and gramps both converted theirs to piston and love them. I asked BW once why he didn't make the hamr in a piston version, and he said they had accuracy issues. I'm always ready to listen to others experiences though. I read somewhere in this thread that Team Oink uses some piston guns? If so which kits are you guys using? Like I said I love my Adams, it has run flawless for me.
